‘Bangalô’ (RTR050) consists of rich soothing layers of analogue synth, which mould unorthodox landscapes, and intertwines with a thick mist of melancholic experimentalism. Tropic Noir is the recording project of Lisbon-based Bruno Pereira.
‘Bangalô’ is also a milestone release for RTR, marking the 50th tape since the label launched back in 2018. Photo editing for the cover art and J-card was provided by Lucy Adlington, the artist behind the RTR logo and design for the first three tapes out on the label.
